What has keep me sane during this quarantine is actually cleaning the house and redecorating. Now that the weather is changing I have taken the decor hobby outside. We got our furniture last year from Home Depot. My husband and I have big family so we needed something that could fit our family when they are visiting.
In New Jersey during the month of April we usually get lots of rain – ” April showers will bring May flowers.” and how true is this statement! Now that we are in May- temperatures are warmer and we have more sunny days.

Sunny days just elevate your mood. Right? I feel more productive and I have a sense of control of my to-do list. We have not fully open the patio just the seating area, but in the next week or two we will open the pool. It is funny because we don’t get to go in as much as the kids do, but as long as they are happy and entertained we are happy as well. #parenthood
This year I am also adding string lights to our patio- wish me luck 🙂
